My latest half finished project
I've had a blank canvas sitting in my house for 8 months... mocking me -__-Funnily enough this craft item was bought with a specific project in mind, unlike a few of the things in my craft room*. This canvas was used as our seating chart for the wedding ^_^ and did a marvelous job I might add.

It seemed a shame to leave it blank and while I contemplated what it could be I realised I already had an idea in mind. While my first thought was to make a Japan shaped pin board this works a lot better.
I hope to fill this map with as many dots as possible over my life time.
It still feels unfinished though. I want to find a great travel quote, a Japanese saying or even a haiku to write in the top left corner. And maybe add a bit of Kanji as well.
For now I'm happy with the new piece of art in our home ^_^
*When I say "craft room" I do not mean a room like these;

It's more of a spare room full of random junk, furniture and a cupboard with my limited crafty supplies which will one day become a little more tidy and organised... One day. Which is a Monday by the way
